OUR MISSION
B.O.L.D.’s mission and motivation is to empower young ladies, and enrich their lives through the expression of dance. Our foremost purpose is to help our dancers discover their individual voices; recognize and embrace the amazing value of their own self worth; and cultivate an environment that will establish the foundation for a lifelong sisterhood within our community of dancers.
Training / Education
Through intense trainings our members discover the strength of their capabilities, learn self-discipline, & improve their area of dance. We affirm to our young dancers self-confidence, self-awareness, and self-worth.
Team Building
Our B.O.L.D. family bonds through TEAMWORK! Whether we’re training, traveling, or fundraising, our B.O.L.D. family will always WORK together so that we continue to GROW together.
Competitive Dancing
Our competitive award-winning majorette dance team sets the bar for many young ladies interested in this style of dance. Intensive training pushes these young ladies to dance with confidence and purpose.

Meet the directors
LATAYA ROBINSON (Director & Chair)
better known as “Coach Nikki” began her love for dance and started dancing at the age of 8. Since 2006 she has managed, coached and choreographed a host of award-winning individual dancers and dance troupes. She is also a certified tumbling coach. Coach Nikki consistently maintains high expectations and rigorous standards from all of the students under her tutelage. She tempers this approach with an individual consideration to each dancer based on their ability level. If you have the passion and commitment, Coach Nikki will help you to, “Discover your voice through Dance!”
ROB ROBINSON (Director & Vice-Chair)
better known as “Coach Rob” is responsible for the logistical and financial operations of the organization. Being a prior Marine and police officer and current 4th grade teacher, he brings unique value to the team as B.O.L.D.’s drill coach.

JAMAL TISDALE
Jamal Tisdale expresses life and emotions through his southern grooves and street dance abilities. This ambitious dancer has also been featured on MTV and has performed in countless local events throughout Charleston, SC. Jamal promotes positivity and originality in his students through his concentration and emphasis on “living and dancing life as an art”.
STARR WOODALL
Starr Woodall began her study of dance under the instruction of Karen Huett at The Dance Factory, studying ballet, tap and jazz until the age of 13. In 2017, Starr began work at The Dollhouse Dance Factory in Stone Mountain, GA, the home of the Dancing Dolls as seen on the Lifetime’s series, “Bring It.” Starr looks forward to choreographing award-winning dance routines at both the regional and national level.
MIGUEL ROBINSON
Miguel Robinson has studied the techniques of ballet, modern, jazz, and hip hop, attending many intensives and competitions throughout the United States. He booked his first major job as a backup dancer for Beyonce in her top ten hit “Get Me Bodied”and works continues to work with many other artist. Miguel continues to be an integral part of Mariah Carey’s dance crew. .
